How it works

No more filling in the same forms at every visit.

  1. Keep your record

Add your history, medications, allergies, vaccines and results from your last physical. Everything is stored encrypted on your iPhone.

  2. Show your code

At check-in, tap Share. MyMedLink makes a one-time code that works for a few minutes and only for this visit.

  3. Your doctor receives it

The front desk scans the code from a web page. Your record appears on their screen, ready to add to your chart.

What it holds

The details your doctor asks for every time.

MyMedLink stores your record in FHIR, the standard format clinic software already reads, so nothing gets lost in retyping.

  • ConditionsDiagnoses and when they started
  • MedicationsName, dose and how often you take it
  • AllergiesWhat you react to and how
  • VaccinesDates and doses
  • Last physicalVitals, lab results and the doctor's notes
  • Past visitsWho you saw, when, and what was decided
Privacy

Your record stays yours.

MyMedLink is built so that only you, and the doctor you show your code to, can ever read your information.

Encrypted on your phone

Your record is locked on your iPhone and opens with Face ID or your passcode.

One code, one visit

Each code carries its own key and stops working after a few minutes or after one scan.

We can't read it

The copy you share passes through our server already encrypted. We never have the key.

Nothing is kept

Shared copies are deleted from our server as soon as your doctor receives them.

For clinics

Nothing to install at the front desk.

Your staff open a web page on any computer with a webcam or a USB barcode scanner. Patient records arrive in seconds instead of on a clipboard.

Receiving a record

  1. Open the MyMedLink clinic page in a browser.
  2. Scan the code on the patient's phone.
  3. Review the record and copy it into your system.

About us

We think your health history should travel with you.

Every new doctor asks the same questions. What medications do you take? Any allergies? When was your last physical? Most of us answer from memory, on a clipboard, in the waiting room. Details get missed, and the doctor starts with less than they need.

MyMedLink started from a simple idea: you already carry your phone to every appointment, so it should carry your medical history too. You keep your record, you decide when to share it, and handing it over takes one scan.

We're a small, independent team building MyMedLink now. If you're a patient, a doctor or a clinic that wants to help shape it, we'd love to hear from you.
